This is the review we are asked for most often. It is for the service manager who already bought a job app, trained the crew once, and still watches jobs close with empty fields, missing photos, or notes that were clearly typed in the car park.

Who it is for

Owners and service managers of HVAC, electrical, telecom, medical-equipment, and facilities crews based in Johor, typically with four to twelve technicians sharing one job app. The app can be a well-known field sheet or a local Android form. What matters is that jobs are dispatched to a phone or tablet the technician carries on site.

It is not for companies still choosing their first job app, and it is not a licence negotiation with a vendor.

The result

You receive a written usage brief that names, in this crew’s language, which screens get opened on the doorstep, which get postponed until the next traffic light, and which fields are almost never filled unless a supervisor is watching. The brief is specific enough to take to a crew lead or to the person who configures the job sheet.

Scope

One crew, one job app, one district pattern. We sample two weeks of already-closed jobs (personal details removed before they reach us) and accompany two call-outs with a single technician the manager nominates.

Included

  • A kickoff at the depot with the service manager, about ninety minutes
  • Two accompanied site visits, usually on consecutive mornings
  • Reading of the stripped job export
  • A findings session back at the depot
  • A written brief, in English, delivered as a PDF

Not included

We do not rewrite the app, train the whole roster as a classroom course, stand on the dispatch desk, or speak to your vendor on your behalf. We will, if you ask, sit in on a call you arrange with the vendor after the brief is in your hands.

Who does the work

A Web Cornerhub reviewer from the Johor Bahru office leads the ride-alongs. Ticket reading is done in the office, not in the van. The findings session is run by the same reviewer so the manager is not repeating the week to a stranger.

How the weeks run

Week one. Intake, access to the stripped export, agreement on which technician we ride with and which kinds of jobs are typical (warranty, breakdown, installation).

Week two. Two ride-alongs. We stay out of the customer conversation unless the technician asks us to wait in the van. We watch when the app is unlocked, when it goes into a pocket, and when a paper pad comes out instead.

Week three. Ticket reading and a draft of the findings. We may ring the dispatcher once, for no more than forty-five minutes, about how a job leaves the office.

Week four. Findings session and the written brief. After that, the engagement is closed unless you book a Crew Briefing for the technicians themselves.

Time and place

Plan on three to four weeks from intake to brief. Ride-alongs happen at the crew’s ordinary customer sites in Johor Bahru, Skudai, Tebrau, Pasir Gudang, Kulai, and nearby. Work on the Peninsula outside Johor is possible when travel days are priced separately.

What you prepare

A recent export of closed jobs with customer names, phone numbers, and exact addresses removed. One dispatcher willing to talk. A technician who is not being “shown off” — we learn more from a normal Wednesday than from a staged perfect job.

Constraints

We will not ride jobs that require a security clearance we do not hold. We will not film customers. We do not need administrator rights in the job app; a supervisor login that can export closed jobs is enough.

Fee

From RM 4,800 for a single crew in Johor. Travel days, additional ride-alongs, and crews larger than twelve are quoted after the intake note.
