Crew Briefing

A half-day at the depot walking the crew through what the ride-along or ticket reading actually showed, using their screens, not a generic lecture.

A Crew Briefing is not a product walkthrough. It is a sitting with the technicians who were in the export or on the ride-along, using the same job app they will open that afternoon.

When it makes sense

After a Field App Usage Review or an After-Visit Note Audit, when the manager wants the crew to hear the findings from the person who sat in the van, not from a laminated poster in the pantry.

What the morning contains

We print a handful of anonymised tickets from their own fortnight. We open the live job sheet on one phone, passed around the table. We talk about the three screens that ate time on the doorstep, and we agree — with the crew lead in the room — which fields will be filled before the customer signs, and which can honestly wait until the van.

We do not grade technicians in front of their peers. If a single person needs a private conversation, that is the manager’s to hold.

Practicalities

Up to twelve people, one interpreter if the crew prefers Bahasa Melayu for the discussion (the written brief from the review remains in English unless we agreed otherwise). From RM 1,200 in Johor. A second sitting for a night crew is a separate booking.
